3rd Digital Rights Management Conference
13th and 14th January 2005, Berlin

This conference is the third in a series of leading DRM conferences in Europe. It will summarise the present debate about DRM on a national and international level. It will also create an interdisciplinary forum to discuss economic, business, legal, technical and scientific questions as well as policy issues surrounding DRM and the future of digital content. Representatives of the media and IT industries, governments, user associations, libraries, collecting societies, as well as artists, attorneys, scientists, privacy and consumer protection advocates from Germany, other European countries and the U.S. will discuss controversial issues and proposed solutions in the areas of Digital Rights Management, Trusted Computing and alternative compensation systems.

Online Educa 2004
December 1 - 3, 2004, Berlin

With well over 1500 registered participants from over 60 different countries representing all continents and 118 exhibitors from 26 countries, ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN 2004 has once again established itself as the world's largest international e-learning conference and accompanying exhibition and also Europe's largest gathering of e-learning and distance education professionals.

IST 2004 Event
15-17 November 2004
"Netherlands Congress Centre",  The Hague

This year's edition of the most important European Information Society Technologies (IST) event is organised under the EU’s Dutch Presidency by the European Commission in partnership with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. The event will include a conference, an exhibition of research results and networking facilities for the about 4000 participants. The overall themes are "People" and "Economy". This IST Event should appeal to:

 • The research community and academics
 • Interested citizens, including young people and students
